Characters I’d Like to See in Brawl – Part 1
I’m sure you’ve seen about a million of these lists, but I figured I’d put out mine, too. This is a list of 3 characters that I’d like to see appear in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, listed in no particular order (mostly in the order I think of them). More will most likely come.
Captain Olimar

This, however, is definitely my most wanted character. Ignoring the badly Photoshopped image, I think that Olimar could be a fantastic Brawler with Pikmin-based attacks. I think that Pikmin definitely deserves some representation here. He would be normal person-sized in this game though, not tiny like in the Pikmin games. His main attacks could be basic punches, with the combo Rocket Punch from Pikmin 2 being an obviously choice. I can’t say much more about him except for my moveset. So here it is.
Standard Special Move – Pikmin Toss – He throws a random colored Pikmin, each with different effects. Red might burn, blue would probably just be normal (just do damage) since I don’t know what it’d do with water, yellow might shock, white could poison, and purple could do major damage.
Side Special Move – Ultra-Bitter Spray – He uses the Ultra-Bitter Spray from Pikmin 2 to turn a character to stone for a few seconds.
Up Special Move – Yellow Pikmin Carry – He throws a yellow Pikmin up high, but holds on to it so that he goes up with it, as a recovery move.
Down Special Move – Pikmin Counter – He uses his counter move, and if someone attacks him while he’s using it, a Pikmin jumps on them and starts beating on them, like when the Pikmin attack the enemy captain in two-player battle mode.
When a Pikmin expires, I think it would be hilarious if its ghost rose up, like in the game, haha.
Paper Mario

I think they should get rid of Dr. Mario. And I believe Paper Mario would be a great Mario alternative, not to mention he wouldn’t be a clone. He would have some paper-based moves, like in the second game, and would make use of his hammer.
Standard Special Move – Hammer – He simply swings his hammer in whatever direction he is facing, doing a fair amount of damage.
Side Special Move – Speedy Spin – Great for traveling long distances in the games, this would be an attack in this case. Sort of like the Fox Illusion, he would quickly spin in whatever direction you indicate, useful for dodging, and cause a small amount of damage to whoever he passes by.
Up Special Move – Paper Airplane – Paper Mario changes into a paper airplane, rising quickly (for recovery), then flying over a short distance, possibly causing damage if he hits anyone. The move can be canceled (to avoid going too far) by pressing Up + (Special Button) again.
Down Special Move – Spring Jump – Press down + (Special Button) to start folding Mario, and when completely folded, release to spring up, causing big damage to anyone he hits (hey, paper cuts hurt).
Also, his down + (Normal Attack Button) aerial move would be a ground pound jump, like in the first game (and I believe the second).
Dark Samus
![]()
The Metroid series is unfairly unrepresented in the Smash Bros. Universe. The addition of ZSS is a start, but seeing as she is merely the result of a Final Smash, I think we need another selectable Metroid character. And while Dark Samus is a Samus-clone looks-wise, I believe she has plenty of different attacks to make her entirely different to play.
Standard Special Move – Phazon Spreadshot – A variation on Samus’s Charge Beam, Dark Samus charges up her weapon, then unleashes an unpredictable volley of Phazon shots, with each individual shot causing less damage, but collectively, they do a fair amount of damage.
Side Special Move – Phazon Boost Ball – I believe this move first appears when you fight Dark Samus a second time. She curls into a ball and boosts in the direction you indicate. It does a lot of damage, but in exchange, it is quite difficult to control.
Up Special Move – Phazon Dive – Much like the Fire Fox, you initiate this move, and Dark Samus charges power for a bit, during which time you can choose a direction for her to go. After a short time, she blasts off in that direction, causing big damage to whoever she hits on her way.
Down Special Move – Phazon Shield – Hold down and (Special Button), and Dark Samus creates a Phazon shield around herself. It protects from damage, and causes a small amount of damage to those who come into contact with it. It doesn’t last very long though, and it can be broken early by projectiles and other attacks that don’t directly contact the shield.

I hope you like my ideas so far. I’ll probably have some more later, as well as some stages and possibly items/assist characters I’d like to see.

It would be nice to see Dark Samus and Captain Olimar. I’m not sure about Paper Mario, although he would be interesting. I just prefer Mario in 3D form than in his wafer-thin 2D paper form; although Paper Mario games are awesome.
yo but is ther ever going on brawl dark samus
